Omawumi can be described as an energetic, intelligent, extremely vocalist and SUPERWOMAN!
From being the second runner up of the West African idol in 2007, she has since soared higher and higher.
She is unarguably one of the top female musicians in the Nigerian
entertainment today and her musical videos are always second to none!
We carried out a research via our social media platforms and we were able to come up with her 7 most loved musical videos...
1. If you ask me:
The video was loved by virtually everyone -we loved the dramatic story
and the creative work of arts displayed in the video...the track was
produced by Cobhams Asuquo and the video was directed by award-winning video director, Clarence Peters.
2. Bottom Belle ft Flavour: The first time we heard Bottom Belle, we loved it. The feisty diva, Omawumi did her thing with her strong vocal chords. She infused the classic Omawumi humor and together with highlife crooner, Flavour N’abania they made this great song.

3. In Da Music:
This was Omawumi's first musical video. The "In da music" song was
released right after she emerged as the second runner up at the West
African Idol 2007
4.When Breeze Blow: A love song too - Waje actually choreographed the entire song in the musical video...nice! The video features Dr Frabz and Wajealongside Omawumi. It sells a story of infidelity, jealousy, betrayal and love. Video directed by Gini.
5. Stay ALive -
she sounded so much like Onyeka Onwenu - whom she calls her - mother in
music in the video. It's an inspirational song where she says we should
strive to stay alive and not live life - jeje laye - we'v got to stay
alive!
6. Chocolata ft Naeto C: A classy and beautiful video.
7. Today Na Today: We Loved Omawumi's energetic spirit in the video.
8. Her Ekwe Performance at the West African Idol
- The first time we actually watched this video, we were stunned -
Omawumi's outstanding rendition of the Onyeka Onwenu's "Ekwe" was
fantastic!
